Describe your role: I’m responsible for learning, development, delivery and design within the area teams, supporting them in what they do with new initiatives and new projects and delivering their leadership and management development programme. The thing I like most about my role is the people I work with. We’re in a quite unique position in what we do in so far as constructing teams for different areas of the business, so for me it’s the people I work with.
What’s the working environment like? It’s an absolutely cracking working environment that we’ve got at Northgate, there’s been a lot of investment placed not only at the branches but within head office as well.
What benefits are there? There are lots of incentives for us as employees and we also have a benefits pool which is fantastic and I've used that quite a lot when booking holidays and other bits and pieces.
Your advice to someone considering joining Northgate? If you want to come work for Northgate my advice would be to always work hard. The biggest thing is the people within the company, always engage with people, get your head down, there’s lots of opportunities in the business as well and if you work hard the sky’s your limit really.
Overall, what is your experience of working with Northgate? We’ve got a fantastic team with a lot of different skill sets and they’ve been really open and happy to share those skills with me as well. The main thing I love about Northgate is the people and the level of engagement from all the branches. I think I genuinely would run through brick walls for Northgate.
