Our core business is the hire of vehicles to other businesses on a non-contract basis, which gives customers the flexibility to manage their vehicle fleet without a long term commitment. Our customers include small owner operator businesses to corporate customers across all sectors including construction, distribution and public utilities.

We employ over 2,900 people across the Group and our shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Our brands in the UK are Northgate Vehicle Hire and Van Monster, in Spain, Northgate España has 24 locations and a fleet of 40,000 vehicles where we are the market leaders in commercial vehicle hire.

Northgate Vehicle Hire has been supplying and managing vehicles for over 35 years. We have a growing national network of more than 58 branches across the UK and Ireland with a total fleet size of 45,100 vehicles.

The majority of our branches have their own workshops employing 350 motor vehicle technicians with a full support team around them. Here we maintain and repair our fleet reducing the impact on our customers.

Our dedicated branch teams are focussed on delivering the very best possible levels of customer service whether working on the front desk, delivering and cleaning our vehicles or managing the team.

All of this means that we are the UK’s number one provider of vans on hire and we can get vehicles to our customers quicker than any other ‘Light Commercial Vehicle’ supplier.

Van Monster has a growing network of 30 branches across the UK making us the largest used van retailer in the UK. We sell quality used vehicles from all the top manufacturers in all shapes and sizes to businesses and private individuals.

Building on a strong customer demand for quality used vehicles we began selling our ex-hire vans in 2004. Since then our reputation has grown and we are known for our quality and availability with around 1,000 commercial vehicles in stock at any point in time, many of which are low mileage vehicles with less than three years in age.

We are the experts when it comes to providing used commercial vehicles, used vans, used tippers and even used cars. Our vision is to bring clean, low-mileage, quality commercial vehicles direct to businesses and individuals in the UK.
